Ever since her first interview after her eviction from the Pinoy Big Brother House, ex-housemate Sam Pinto has always been upfront with her admiration towards Gerald Anderson. Without uncertainty, she had admitted to the whole world that Gerald is in fact her showbiz crush; so now that she has an upcoming project with the lad, she simply couldn’t contain her excitement.

In an interview with Showbiz News Ngayon, Sam gladly shared how thrilled she is to be working with Gerald in the series Your Song Presents: Isla. She even explained that it is basically a momentous event for her because aside from the fact that she will be able to share a set with the actor she truly adores, it will be serving as her grand debut in the showbiz industry. In elaboration to this claim, she cheerfully explained, “Super excited ako about this [project]. First project ko ‘to with ABS-CBN, tapos with Gerald pa.”

With regard to the ever reactionary Kimerald fans on the other hand, Sam said that she is pretty confident that she has nothing to worry about since Gerald is not the actual love interest of her character in their script. As a verification on this matter, and somehow a sneak preview of what the public should anticipate in the show, she blurted “Hindi siya (Gerald) ang leading man ko. Si Paul Jake, triangle kami with Tom.”
