Pinoy Big Brother First Big Placer Paul Jake Castillo is known to be a good leader who always says what he wants regardless of the feelings of his co-housemates. "That's what I kept on saying sa bahay ni Kuya and now I am going to say it again, I can't please everybody kung may na-offend ako, sorry na lang. I am really sorry, I didn't mean to offend anyone.

Because of this, Paul Jake is involved in issues that he allegedly referred to Cathy Remperas as a gold-digger in one the conversations inside the house. Paul Jake was obviously shocked when ABS-CBN.com told him about the issue which he immediately clarified. "Honestly, I don't remember saying the gold-digger part, if ever I did say that I am very sorry, it was a joke or hindi ko alam, nabigla ako dun sa sinasabi niya. If ever I get the chance, I'll clarify things up."

Paul Jake and Cathy are currently working together in Precious Hearts Romances. So far, Paul Jake sees no problem between the two of them and they actually have a good working relationship on the set together with their other fellow housemates. Actually, I haven't talked to Cathy about anything because when I saw her, we were okay naman, nothing no tension, walang bad feelings or awkward feeling between us, I actually forgot about that issue and kanina nagkasama kami ni Cathy sa taping, yung kwentuhan namin sobrang ganda."

Paul Jake admits that sometime he is the type who is very particular when it comes to the personality of a person he is dealing with, but he is not judgmental. For Paul Jake, every person is innately good, he just has to accept his weakness and work on it. "As I said, a person can always change no matter how pangit yung ugali niya, he can always change for the better. It is really important to know your mistakes and bad sides because without them no one would grow, it is for you own good naman."
