Pinoy Big Brother Double Up Second Big Placer Paul Jake Castillo and pretty ex-PBB housemate Sam Pinto will star together with other ex-housemates in the March offering of Your Song presents. In an interview with ABS-CBN.com, Paul Jake said that he didn’t expect that there would legions of “SamPaul” fanatics waiting for his return to the outside world. “I wasn’t expecting na maiisipan ng mga tao na kami ‘yung ipa-partner. Unang tingin ko pa lang kay Sam, sobrang ganda na, pang-model at artista ang dating. Mukhang hindi naman ako bagay sa kanya especially because I’ve been vocal about having a girlfriend. Kaya surprised ako na paglabas ko may mga SamPaul fans pala.”

Although the 25-year-old Cebuano cutie admitted that he finds Sam very pretty, it never crossed his mind during their PBB stay to court her since he had a girlfriend waiting for him in the outside world. “Sam is a very nice lady. She’s very pretty. It won’t be a surprise kung maraming magkagusto sa kanya. Hindi ko talaga naisip na ligawan siya or anyone. I entered the house with a girlfriend so hindi ko naisip na manligaw ng ibang girl housemates. I came out of the house still with my girlfriend and I’m very happy about it.”

Nevertheless, Paul Jake had a great time being friends with Sam during their PBB stints, and now that they have been spending time together on the set of Your Song. “Inside the house, we’re very okay. Wala kaming problema. Ngayon madalas kaming nakakapag-usap because we’re doing an episode of Your Song. Magkasama kami the whole day noong nag-taping and we had fun, pati sina Rica (Paras), Tom (Rodriguez), Cathy (Remperas), (Riza) Patria, Hermes (Bautista).”

Paul Jake confessed to ABS-CBN.com that his non-showbiz girlfriend of three years is a bit concerned as more and more fans demand that he be be in a love team with Sam, or with any other ladies in showbiz. “As a boyfriend nafi-feel ko na my girlfriend has a little concern na naila-love team ako kay Sam. Hindi naman natin maiaalis ‘yun sa kahit sinong girlfriend na mag-worry, baka magka-developan and all. Pero I don’t think that’s going to happen. Sa PBB nga na for four months na we’re not together wala naman akong niligawan na iba so I don’t think there’s a reason para mag-worry.”
